One of my new Sauces

A while back Rob Marion from Them Ohio City Boys handed me over a sauce to try. Hot Squeeze! I really love it and thought I would share it with you. It is a bit Asian in the flavor profile but with a little tweaking rocks out a great BBQ sauce.

I have used it on BBQ chops, Moink balls and a few other tidbits. If you have the chance pick up some. Its nice to have a “new” flavor in the fridge. Often I find that many of the sauces seem repetitive. This was a refreshing change.

Here is my recipe for beans using this sauce

6 slices bacon, diced
2 Large (28oz) cans Bushs beans (or start with your favorite)
1/2 c. Hot Squeeze (add more if you like!!)
1 lb. smoked leftover smoked pork or beef, more or less, or 1 lb crumbled cooked pork sausage
2 cups apricot preserves
2 medium onions, chopped
1 green pepper, fine dice
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. Sweet Onion Mustard (prepared)
1 tsp Buster Rhinos Rib Rub

  • Hello Diva Q!! I’m the owner and creator of Hot Squeeze and I love that you were introduced to Hot Squeeze through the wonderful Rob Marion! Just one thing to say…. Hot Squeeze doesn’t need to be refrigerated!!

Can’t wait to try your recipe!! (One more thing, I like to call Hot Squeeze the “Adult Ketchup” – thinking of it in those terms, you get the real idea of just how versatile it is!

    Thanks Diva Q!
